District's New Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) Instrument

Group of people talking in a lab

We were thrilled to host the talented team from Fox Metro Water Reclamation District. Our Lab Manager Sam Youssef led an engaging session, showcasing some of our state-of-the-art equipment.

This meeting was much more than a demonstration; it was a platform for mutual learning and collaboration. Sam worked alongside the team to collaborate on various issues, highlighting the importance of collective problem-solving.

This meeting underscores how sharing insights and expertise between government entities can lead to significant progress and innovation. We’re honored to be a part of this essential network of support and exchange.

Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS)

Indvidual's on the tour leaned about the District's new Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) instrument. With this tool our laboratory is able to collect test results at a faster rate. The ICP-MS instrument has a sensitive elemental analysis technique that can measure almost all the naturally occurring elements and many non-natural, radiogenic elements as well.
